Report summary

After 100 years of continued operation the key issue facing the Chuquicamata Division is that of replacing depleting open pit reserves. The Chuquicamata 140kt/d ore underground project will be key to extending existing mill operations at this division. The accompanying analysis considers production of copper in concentrate at the nominal 180kt/d Chuquicamata mill (MINCO) and production from the oxide line.
