Citronen zinc mine project
Report summary
Citronen is located in north-eastern Greenland. The project is forecast to produce around 3.3Mt/a ore over the 14 year mine life, the first 11 years will be an underground operation with the final three years being an open pit operation. A project feasibility study was published in April 2013 and in July it was presented to China NFC in order to prepare the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and financing. In December 2016, Ironbark was awarded a mining permit for the Citronen project lasting 30 years.
