Report summary
The Cockle Creek smelter in New South Wales, Australia operated between 1961 and 2003. At the time of closure the smelter had an estimated production capacity of 93kt/a slab zinc. The smelter has since been demolished and the site rehabilitated. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
