The Eagle River property, located close to Wawa, Ontario is comprised of the Eagle River mine, Mishi mine, Eagle River mill and infrastructure with two claim groups totalling over 11,000 hectares. The Eagle River mine is an underground mine that is accessed by a three-compartment shaft and three ramp systems - the East Ramp, the West Ramp, and the Shaft Ramp. Mining is primarily carried out using sub-level long-hole stoping, historically the mine has employed shrinkage stoping. Mining at the Mishi deposit is by conventional open pit methods and has operated intermittently since 2002. The Mishi deposit is due to be exhausted in 2020. The Eagle River mill is permitted to operate at 1,200t/d but due to required maintenance time the practical limit is approximately 850t/d.
