Report summary

The Errington and Vermilion mines are underground polymetallic zinc mines located in the Sudbury Basin Ontario. Both deposits were mined for a brief period following their discovery in 1924 but were closed after being considered unprofitable. One of the main challenges was the significant capital required to extract the fine grained material. No updated information has been reported since 2014.
