Report summary
Operated by Fu An Qingmei Energy Material Co., Ltd, the Ningde cobalt refining plant is located in Ningde city, Fujian province, China and is a joint venture project between Jingmen GEM (60%) and Yongqing Technology (a Tsingshan subsidiary 40%). The plant has a capacity of 1.6 ktpa cobalt sulphate in contained cobalt as of 2021. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
