Report summary
Lithium prices continued to decrease, accelerated in April and into early May. By the middle of May, prices have started to rebound. The two key drivers are: * destocking in the Chinese market is coming to an end * increasing supply We forecast the decrease in lithium demand to be short-lived and that lithium demand will return to the market later this year with indications already in place. The demand profile will be met with a continued growth in supply which will prevent prices from returning to previous highs.
