The news that Boliden is placing its Tara mine on care and maintenance saw the price shift higher but the combination of dollar strength, another raft of disappointing macro-economic data from China, and further weakness in Europe saw the price start to slide lower. Could news of force majeure being declared at Penasquito in late-June stall the slide?
