Report summary
Ijmuiden is favourably-located on the coast of Holland, with its own port facilities. The plant is part of Tata Steel Europe and produces hot rolled, cold rolled and metallic coated strip. Ijmuiden is one of the lowest-cost and highest-margin steel plants in Western Europe. It has also been ranked as 3rd in the 2022 CO2 intensity benchmark published by the World Steel Association. Tata Steel aims to be completely CO2-neutral by 2045.
