Report summary
The profile of northeast Inner Mongolia zinc mines covers combined production from numerous small mines not covered as individual mines in our cost service. The province experiences harsh cold conditions for up to four months of the year, shortening production period as heating system installation can prove costly. There are very few open pit zinc-lead mines in Inner Mongolia, with underground mining being the preferred method.
