Wood Mackenzie is pleased to announce the release of its proprietary Bauxite Price Forecast Model. The model employs a transparent, interactive and defined methodology, providing a robust mechanism for bauxite price discovery and forecasting. By using a hypothetical coastal refinery in China’s Shandong province or further inland, we apply solid principles of supply and demand in conjunction with our unique marginal cost supplier model to identify price points for each year to 2040.
