Report summary
Tata Steel is a wholly owned subsidiary of TATA and the owner and operator of the Jamshedpur integrated steel plant. The Jamshedpur plant is Tata Steel's flagship plant in India and it is also the first plant they built. Tata Steel has been producing steel on this site for over 100 years. Jamshedpur produces hot and cold rolled coils, hot dip galvanised steels, bar and wire rod. It has the capacity to produce 11Mtpa of crude steel.
