Jingmen, GEM - Nickel sulphate refinery
Report summary
Operated by GEM, the Jingmen plant is located in Hubei province, China. The plant produces nickel sulphate from a variety of nickel feedstocks, the majority of which is mixed hydroxide precipitate (MHP) from the Ramu Nickel Plant, in Papua New Guinea. The plant has a capacity of 30.0ktpa in contained nickel, though in 2021 was estimated to produce 18.3ktpa.
