Khnaiguiyah copper mine project
Report summary
The Khnaiguiyah Project is located in Saudi Arabia, approximately 170km south-west of Riyadh. The deposit is proposed to be mined using open pit mining, with an estimated 13 year mine life based on ore reserves. There are three pits in the mine plan outlined in the 2013 Definitive Feasibility Study, K1, K2 and K3 that will be mined to depths of approximately 95m, 155m and 220m respectively. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
