Report summary

Lebedinsky GOK (LGOK) is the largest iron ore mine in Russia and is located at Gubkin about 650km south of Moscow. It is 100% owned by Russian steelmaker Metalloinvest and is the only hot briquetted iron (HBI) producer in Russia. HBI production at the mine will expand by 1.8Mtpa by 2017 when the third HBI plant is completed. LGOK's costs have almost halved since 2013 because of the halving of the Russian rouble.
