Mara Rosa gold mine project
Mara Rosa is expected to be an open pit operation utilising conventional mining methods. Mine life is estimated at 9.6 years. Ore is part refractory in nature. The processing plant will comprise a pre-oxidisation and conventional carbon-in-leach (CIL) circuit. The plant is anticipated to have a design capacity of 2.5Mt/a. Gold production is estimated at around 70 to 110koz per annum. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
