Miralga Creek iron ore mine - new
Report summary
Miralga Creek is an extension of the now completed Abydos iron ore mine, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, owned and operated by Atlas Iron. The first ore was hauled in February 2022 with a target production of 2-3 Mtpa expected to achieve in 2023. Miralga Creek will produce both lump and fines which will be blended into Atlas Iron's Standard Fines and Atlas Premium Lump offerings. Production of 2-3 Mtpa will support a life of mine of four to five years.
