Operated by Covalent Lithium, Mt Holland is a lithium mineral project located in Western Australia. The project is currently under construction as an equal joint venture between SQM and Wesfarmers. The project includes a large open pit mine at the Earl Grey pegmatite deposit and a processing plant with a production rate of 383ktpy of 5.5% Li2O spodumene concentrate, plus an associated refinery at Kwinana capable of producing 50.3ktpy of battery grade lithium hydroxide. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
