    • The 118 deposit is located in the south of the Carajás copper region approximately 60 km south of Carajás and 10 km west of the Sossego deposit. An oxide reserve outcrops at surface which has the potential to feed a 6 Mt/a leach operation for ten years to produce 36 kt/a SxEw copper at a recovery of 70%.
    • It is possible that an oxide resource of 20Mt of 1.0% Cu at Sossego could also be processed to feed the 118 SxEw plant. Additionally, 40Mt tonnes of 1.45-1.46% Cu and 0.3-0.4 g/t Au sulphide ore from 118 may be processed at the Sossego mill.
