Pan gold mine project
Report summary
The Pan project, located in Nevada, was planned as a conventional open pit operation from multiple pits (South, North and satellite pits) with heap leach ore processing at a rate of 6.5Mt/a over a 3.5-year mine life, producing a total of 233koz over the life of mine. However, full capacity has not been achieved since operations commenced in 2015. The existing mine plan is for a further 5 years of production, based on an annual throughput of 14ktpd. Fiore are currently assessing the viability of an expansion to 17ktpd.
