The Pebble deposit is one of the world's largest known undeveloped copper-gold resources and is a potential large-scale copper, gold and molybdenum mining project in southwest Alaska. The Pebble deposit is located in the vicinity of one of the world's largest salmon breeding grounds and permitting of the project is not assured. The accompanying analysis assumes an open pit mining operation with a 20-year duration.
