Pre-LME Week 2021 Aluminium briefing
Report summary
This time of year would normally see those involved in the mining, processing, financing and selling of Base Metals converging on London. Akin to the last year, most elements of the LME Week will still remain virtual. Wood Mackenzie will be hosting our usual Forum on the morning of Wednesday 13 October. The 2021 LME Forum will offer valuable insights on the key short-term drivers impacting mined commodity markets coupled with an in-depth analysis of the challenges and opportunities that the energy transition represents over the longer term. To support all our clients participating in this year’s LME Week, we have produced two podcasts sharing insights on aluminium supply, the key trends in aluminium consumption and the role of scrap.
