In 2024, the global rare earth supply continued to grow. This expansion occurred even as China's production quota growth decelerated, with the commissioning and ramp up of foreign assets eroding China’s market share. Because of the rapid development of low-carbon technologies the demand for rare earth permanent magnet materials continued to increase. As we move into 2025, with the improvement of the global economic condition, it is expected that the rare earth market will continue to improve. We foresee five areas to keep an eye on in 2025.
