Raura zinc mine
Report summary
Raura operates in 2018 an underground mine and a 2.77kt/d ore conventional concentrator. The concentrator usually operates 341 days per year. The life of the mine was extended from 2030 to 2037 because the 2018 resources were increased significantly. To extend the life of the mine, Raura has started in 2018 a deepening project of the mine that will last until 2022. The copper, lead and most of the zinc concentrate produced are shipped through the El Callao port in Lima. Some zinc concentrate is treated at Cajamarquilla.
