Report summary
The Sasa zinc operation is located in Macedonia. Prior to the restart of operations in 2006 just a saleable bulk concentrate was produced. The installation of a new flotation circuit in 2006, which adopted differential flotation to produce separate zinc and lead concentrates, led to substantial improvements in recovery rates. On 4 November, 2015 Solway Investment Group announced the closing of the agreement to sell Sasa mine to Orion Mine Finance Group.
