Located in Hejin City, Shaanxi. Shanxi Dakang is a multi commodity producing corporation which commenced construction of a 200kt/a NPI plant in the second half of 2007. NPI grade was originally 1.6-2% but current production average 5% Ni. Production commenced in July 2009 and changed to higher grade production in November 2009. One blast furnace produced low grade NPI with Ni content of 2%, another blast furnace produced 4~6% Ni content NPI in 2010.
