Report summary
The project is planned as an underground mining operation utilising sub-level open stoping mining methods. A 21-year mine life is expected, processing an average of 2.6 Mtpa of ore. The processing plant comprises flotation circuits for separate copper and pyrite concentrates. In January 2019, Mubadala submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment to the National Authority of Environmental Licences.
