Sukpo zinc smelter

The Sukpo smelter in South Korea uses the roast, leach, electrowin technology to make slab zinc. The leach residues are treated using the Goethite process but the residue from this is subsequently treated in TSL fuming units to improve recoveries. the current capacity is 360kt/a slab zinc and there are no plans to increase this.
