Tongling Panlong zinc mine
Report summary
The mine commenced ore production in 2001, with a nominal capacity of 1kt/d. Prior to the commissioning of the 1kt/d mill in 2006, all ore mined was sold to concentrators in the local area. Capacity was increased incrementally to 1.5kt/d by 2011. A new mill was commissioned at the end of 2012 with a capacity of 3kt/d and the original mill was shut down. Construction for a further expansion to 6kt/d has started in 2019.
