True North gold mine
Report summary
The True North complex consists of the True North, San Gold No 1, Hinge and 007 underground mines with the ore processed at the central True North mill. Refurbishment of underground workings were underway in 2016 and mining resumed. However, in January 2018 underground operations were lowered to just target the remaining developed ore which was exhausted in March of the same year, following an operational review the mine was placed on care and maintenance. In April, 2018 the company began the re-processing of historical tailings.
