Yantai Penghui Copper Industry Co., Ltd, previously named Yantai Nonferrous was started in 1971 with 10kt/a. It was renamed as Yantai Penghui Copper Industry Co., Ltd.("Yantai Penghui") in March 1993, by Yantai Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd., Oriental Metal Co., Ltd. and Chinese New Metals Co., Ltd.
