Report summary
Yaoure is located in central Côte d'Ivoire, approximately 40km northwest of Yamoussoukro. An open pit operation utilising conventional drill, blast, load and haul mining methods is planned. A 3.3Mt/a processing plant is planned with gravity concentration and a carbon in leach (CIL) circuit. First gold was poured in December 2020 and commercial production was declared on 31 March 2021. An updated mine plan was released in August 2021 detailing an eight-year mine life from July 2021 with extensions possible through brownfield exploration success, including the CMA UG deposit. Gold production in FY22 - FY25 is expected to average 260koz/a Au at a head grade of 2.3 g/t. Total production is estimated to reach 1.43 million ounces of gold from July 2021.
