The mine is 200km south west of Ougadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. Yaramoko is a high-grade underground mining operation. First gold pour was announced in May 2016 with commercial production declared in October of the same year, ahead of schedule and under budget. Average annual mill throughput is 270kt at a head grade of 12g/t of gold. Mine life is estimated at 7 years with average annual gold production of 100koz. A feasibility study is ongoing (due Q4 2017) to extend mine life and expand mill capacity from 750t/d to 1.1kt/d.
