Yenipazar zinc mine
Report summary
Yenipazar is a polymetallic deposit that contains Au, Cu, Pb and Zn within the minerals chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite and the Zn – bearing silicate minerals gahnite. The mining method proposed will be a conventional open pit mine and a differential flotation circuit that will produce a copper, lead and zinc concentrate and gold dore. The project is expected to come into production by 2024 with a mine life of 12 years. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs.
