Report summary
Zijin Copper is located in Shanghang County, 220km northwest Xiamen city, Fujian province. A railway special line mainly for copper smelting project transportation was opened to traffic in January 2013. The capacity of the refinery is 200kt/a cathode. The refinery utilizes the permanent stainless steel cathode process. The first batch of cathode was produced in January 2012. 720 cells were installed in the tankhouse with 2 cranes.
