Coronavirus impact briefing: week ending 12 June
Report summary
In this week's coronavirus impact briefing, Latin America remains the current epicentre of the pandemic. But across the southern US, cases and hospitalisations are on the rise again two to three weeks after lockdowns were relaxed there. We are concerned about what this means for second waves and the imposing of lockdowns again, especially in nations where public approval of government handling of the crisis has deteriorated. We also focus on the pace of recovery in the oil market. Gasoline? Rallying. Aviation? Sputtering. Needless to say, inventories are normalising after record highs and refineries are kicking back up a gear. What does this all mean for Brent?
