Electric bus charging infrastructure and microgrids: A grid edge case study
Wood Mackenzie seeks to understand how transit agencies are electrifying bus fleets and the opportunity for microgrids to enable these efforts. In this case study we feature Antelope Valley Transit Authority, the transit agency planning to be the first public agency operating a 100% battery electric bus fleet by the end of 2020. As of February 2020, about half the fleet is electric, and the agency plans to install a microgrid at its bus depot.
