European power & renewables: 5 things to look for in 2023
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Europe’s energy crisis has changed many things, including the priorities of regional energy policy. In response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the REPowerEU package underlined a new level of ambition for decarbonisation, placing the power sector firmly at the centre of a strategy to end imports of Russian energy. Power prices have reached record highs and in response, governments have intervened to protect consumers. But perhaps most significantly, the security of Europe’s energy supply has fallen into doubt. Against this tumultuous background, subject matter experts from our Europe power & renewables team offer their thoughts on what 2023 holds in store.
