In recent years, tracker installations have steadily grown. 2019 appears to be a pivotal year and Wood Mackenzie expects the market to truly take off, growing by over 62% year-on-year. Growth in the market is led by the Middle East, Africa and Europe. The Middle East is expected to overtake North America as the largest tracker market by 2024. Wood Mackenzie expects that trackers will account for 43% of global ground mount installations by 2024.
