MOL refining and oil products summary
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Since its inception, MOL has transformed into a regional integrated energy champion across central and eastern Europe. Integrated across the full value chain, its operations include upstream oil and gas, midstream gas and downstream (oil refining, fuels marketing and petrochemicals). Previous strategic emphasis on upstream-driven growth has shifted in recent years, as the low oil price environment has seen the growing downstream division's share of MOL's earnings and capital spending increase. MOL's latest strategy looks to diversify away from liquid fuels - which it expects to decline over the longer term - by investing in chemical production at its refineries and increasing its exposure to the retail and consumer services sector.
