Oil wells drilled in the Cane Creek area over 50 years ago showed strong production potential. Some completions exceeded over 1.0 mmbbl of total recovery and numerous others exceeded 500,000 bbl. Wells this large were not generally widespread, as natural fracture networks played a key role in operators' ability to drill such productive wells.
