Qiannan shale gas unconventional concept play
Report summary
The Qiannan sag is located south of Guiyang, the capital city of the Guizhou province. GDP growth of the Guizhou Province is forecast to average 8.8% annually over 2015-2030. Energy demand within the province will increase significantly as a result. The local gas market is dominated by industrial users, willing to pay a high price to secure gas supplies. The Guizhou province currently has no significant gas production.
