The development of Atlanta is Enauta's first operated project. The field lies within the former BS-4 exploration licence area that also includes the Oliva field, located in the northern area of the Santos basin. In 2019, Enauta stated that the Oliva field would be relinquished due to the low financial attractiveness.The Atlanta field started production in March 2018.
