The Baikalovskoye field is a giant oil gas and condensate field in the Taimyr Peninsula owned by Rosneft and BP. The field is geologically in the West Siberian basin but administratively in Krasnoyarsk Krai (East Siberia). The field's major challenge is its isolation the nearest towns are Dudinka (around 150 kilometres away) and Norilsk (around 200 kilometres away).
