Belal gas field is located in the Persian Gulf, 90 kilometres southwest of Lavan island and close to the South Pars super-giant gas field. The field lies adjacent to the maritime border with Qatar.Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), is supervising the development of the field.
