Report summary
The Benoy oil development is in the Doba basin of southern Chad. Overseas Petroleum and Investment Corporation (OPIC), a subsidiary of Taiwan's national oil company, CPC, is the operator. The Benoy field was discovered with the first exploration well in the Chari Ouest III block (BCO III) in 2011. Following this discovery, three satellite fields were discovered: Mbaikoro, Mouroumar, and Benoy West. In 2020, production started in three of the four fields: Benoy, Mbaikoro, and Mouroumar. ...
