Report summary
The Benoy oil field is in the Doba Basin of southern Chad. Taiwan's national oil company, CPC, operates the block through its subsidiary company Overseas Petroleum and Investment Corporation (OPIC). Benoy was discovered with the first exploration well in the Chari Ouest III block (BCO III) in 2011. Three satellite discoveries followed; Mbaikoro, Mouroumar and Benoy West.
