The Bent Horn field is located on Cameron Island in the Arctic Islands of Nunavut. The field was brought onstream in 1985 and produced a total of three million barrels of oil. Low oil prices and uncertainty over remaining reserves led the operator to cease production in 1996. The field was finally abandoned in 1999. Whilst onstream, Bent Horn was the most northerly producing field in the world.
