Report summary
Block 14 lies in the central Oriente basin and contains four commercial fields: Nantu and the Sunka/Wanke/Kupi complex. Production commenced in 1993 and the fields are now mature. After Petro Oriental acquired the block in 2006, a focus on development drilling improved production. However, the four commercial fields have now been largely exploited, and no further development drilling is expected unless another commercial discovery is made elsewhere on the block.
