Block 22　lies to the northwest of Tobago and contains two　gas discoveries: Cassra and Sancoche. Of the two discoveries, attention is focused on Cassra as it has a larger resource base, and it lies in much shallower waters (500 metres)　than Sancoche (1,100 metres).　Commersialisation involved the joint development of Block 22 and the south and adjacent NCMA-4 block which is also operated by Shell.
