Block Z-69 contains a group of oil and gas areas spread offshore in the shallow waters of the Talara basin in northwest Peru: Block Z-69 A, Block Z-69 B, Block Z-69 C and Block Z-69 D. The area has been producing since the 1950s and is now mature, with a large number of platforms installed and over 1,500 wells drilled.
